We are currently seeking a dedicated SMP (Structural, Mechanical, and Piping) Project Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, operating out of our Bayswater location in the Bayswater area. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful execution of our ongoing projects by coordinating daily site and operational activities, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring work is delivered in alignment with company and client standards.
Key responsibilities for the SMP Project Coordinator position typically include:
- Assisting with the day-to-day coordination and administration of SMP projects
- Collaborating with project managers, supervisors, and site teams to monitor progress
- Helping to track project documentation, schedules, and deliverables
- Communicating with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to support smooth operations
- Promoting and maintaining a strong safety culture in compliance with company policies
- Resolving operational queries and supporting continuous improvement initiatives on site
To be successful in this role, you will bring a professional approach to project coordination, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment. Experience within the contracting, mining, or heavy industrial sectors, particularly involving structural, mechanical, and piping disciplines, will be highly regarded.
