Interlec WA, a Perth-based electrical construction company specialising in commercial, industrial, infrastructure, high voltage, and substation projects throughout Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the team.
This opportunity is offered on a part-time basis and is based in White Gum Valley within the Fremantle area, supporting our continued growth and strong secured workload across various project sites.
As a valued member of the Interlec team, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve performing electrical installation, maintenance, and construction duties in commercial and industrial settings, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard of quality.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Undertaking electrical installation, wiring, and maintenance for commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry safety standards, regulations, and site protocols.
- Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaborating effectively with project managers, other trades, and team members on site.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Valid Electrician license/registration applicable to Western Australia.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction environments.
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliability, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
