Ventia is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Airspace Lead Technician for a full-time opportunity based in Derrimut, within the Brimbank area. In partnership with L3Harris, Ventia is actively assisting the Airspace network in modernising vital communications and surveillance equipment for a government organisation. This program involves comprehensive site audits, system site designs, installation, and ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) services during the initial phase of the project.
As the Airspace Lead Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-standard technical outcomes while stepping into a position where you can truly make an impact. With project activities set to expand, you will initially manage this project independently, providing hands-on technical expertise and leadership, with opportunities to grow and guide a team as the program develops.
Key responsibilities for this role typically involve:
- Executing site audits and supporting system site designs for communications and surveillance equipment.
- Leading the installation, testing, and commissioning of specialized airspace technology and related infrastructure.
- Delivering ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) services in accordance with strict government and project standards.
- Managing day-to-day project activities independently and effectively coordinating tasks on-site.
- Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental protocols across all work activities.
- Collaborating closely with project partners, stakeholders, and team members to ensure seamless program delivery.
