UCHealth is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at the Hematology Clinic located in the Glendale and greater Denver area, specifically connected to the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion setting. This is an onsite role designed for professionals who thrive in a direct patient care environment.
In this role, you will utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a medical and physician office setting. You will work in accordance with applicable professional scopes and standards of practice, collaborating closely with physicians, clinical staff, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing hematology treatments and evaluations.
This is a PRN position operating on a days shift schedule. Compensation for this role is listed at an annual equivalent of $62,772, with an hourly pay rate range between $33.61 and $52.10 per hour. Final pay is dependent upon the applicant’s relevant experience.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct patient care within the outpatient clinic.
- Administering treatments, medications, and clinical interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Educating patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care management.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate seamless patient services.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential electronic health records and documentation.
- Adhering strictly to safety protocols, clinic policies, and professional nursing standards.
