As a Dietitian at Encompass Health, you will play a crucial role in promoting health and wellness through personalized nutrition plans tailored to each individual in our care. In this rewarding role, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically include:
- Assessing patients’ unique nutritional needs and medical histories upon admission and throughout their stay
- Developing, evaluating, and implementing comprehensive dietary and nutrition care plans
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Providing clear and compassionate education to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and therapeutic nutrition
- Instructing patients on dietary modifications necessary to support their rehabilitation and long-term wellness goals
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting nutrition interventions as needed
