Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician within our SMR (Service, Maintenance, and Repair) Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. This is a unique full-time opportunity based in Verwood, Dorset, offering you the chance to deliver expert vehicle care directly to our customers.
In this role, your primary responsibility is to carry out high-quality servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles at customer locations. Unlike traditional roadside rescue, this SMR-focused position allows you to build a structured schedule while utilizing your mechanical expertise to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently and professionally.
The details of the position include:
- Competitive base salary starting at £40,178, with total on-target earnings of up to £52,000 per year.
- Guaranteed overtime option available to increase your base salary to £44,385, alongside additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Full-time work schedule consisting of 40 hours per week.
- Core working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including a rota of 1 in 4 Saturdays.
