Join the RAC as a Superflex Roadside Mechanic based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, on a full-time basis. Flexibility deserves recognition, and in this role, you will provide the adaptability that our roadside assistance service relies on.
As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, your primary responsibility is to attend to motorists at the roadside, diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults efficiently to get our members back on the move. You will manage your workload independently while delivering exceptional customer service during what can often be a stressful time for drivers.
Key details of the role include:
- A competitive salary of £60,000 per year.
- An average working week of 40 hours calculated across the year.
- Rosters provided seven days in advance, with your core working hours confirmed three days prior.
- Varied shift patterns that thrive outside of the traditional 9-to-5 schedule.
To succeed in this role, you should possess strong mechanical knowledge and practical experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair, alongside a valid driver’s licence. The ability to problem-solve under pressure and communicate effectively with customers is essential.
