Halfords, the UK’s largest automotive service, maintenance, and repair business, is currently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team on a full-time basis at our Erdington centre in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair work to the highest standards. Your day-to-day duties will typically involve diagnosing faults, replacing parts, conducting routine vehicle checks, and ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
We offer a competitive financial package designed to reward your hard work and expertise:
- Base salary of £33,290 to £36,620 per year.
- On-target earnings of up to £42,420 per year, comprising your base salary and an uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £5,800 per year.
- A standard 5-day working week, noting that this specific centre only trades on Sundays for 10 weeks each year.
- Additional earning potential through our refer-a-friend scheme (terms and conditions apply).
