Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Providing high standards of individualized patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and clinical excellence.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Administering medications and treatments safely and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitoring patient vitals and health status, responding promptly to any changes in condition.
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues to ensure a supportive and safe care environment.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, supporting a safety-first culture in line with our ‘Speaking Up for Safety’ programme.
