Suncoast Fencing is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Operating from our workshop located in the Maroochydore area (Kiels Mountain / Woombye region), our business specialises in the manufacture and supply of quality fencing, gates, privacy screens, architectural screening products, and custom aluminium and steel fabrication solutions for our valued customers.
In this full-time role, you will be an essential part of our workshop production team, contributing directly to our fabrication output, upholding our high standards of product quality, and ensuring the timely completion of customer orders. We are looking for a reliable trade professional who takes pride in their workmanship and can work effectively in a busy manufacturing environment.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Performing high-quality welding and fabrication work on aluminium and steel products according to project specifications and design drawings.
- Assembling fencing, gates, privacy screens, and architectural screening products with precision and care.
- Operating workshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspecting finished fabricated items to ensure they meet stringent quality control standards before dispatch.
- Adhering strictly to workplace health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Collaborating with workshop supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines and manage workflow effectively.
This permanent position offers a competitive annual salary ranging between A$75,000 and A$85,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and trade background.
