Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an exciting short-term contract opportunity within the Emergency Department of a hospital in the Northern Tasmania region, located around Launceston. This temporary assignment is scheduled to run from May 4, 2026, through to August 3, 2026.
In this dynamic role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment. As an integral part of the emergency care team, your daily responsibilities will naturally involve triaging patients, assessing acute conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes during critical moments.
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold current professional registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. While emergency department experience and specialized skills are strongly preferred, dedicated nursing professionals with a strong background in acute care are encouraged to apply. Candidates must also demonstrate the flexibility and availability to work a fully rotational roster as required by the department.
