Medrecruit is seeking a dedicated and qualified Registrar in Emergency Medicine for a locum placement at a modern hospital situated in a vibrant, historic town in the Mitchell and Bathurst region. This part-time opportunity is offered at a competitive rate of $1,600 to $1,800 per day, with an annualized equivalent of up to A$416,000 per year, inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading where applicable.
Locum cover is specifically required for the following dates and shift times: August 10, 2026, from 0800 to 1800, and August 11 to August 12, 2026, from 1400 to 0000. This position is suitable for practitioners looking to support a busy emergency department while enjoying the charm of a regional location.
Key responsibilities for this role generally include assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients presenting to the emergency department, providing timely and effective medical care, collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Appropriate seniority level, such as Senior, Registrar, ACEM, or CMO (minimum PGY5)
- Valid ALS (Advanced Life Support) Certificate
- Valid New South Wales Working with Children Check (NSW WWCC)
