FlexiStaff is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for an opportunity located in the Murdoch and Melville area. This is a casual position offering an attractive pay rate of AU$52 to AU$55 per hour plus applicable penalties, operating on a weekly pay cycle. Initially structured as a three-month cover with the potential to extend, the role offers a standard 38-hour working week.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing essential mechanical support to keep operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day duties will align with the following areas:
- Service, maintain, and repair a diverse range of fixed and mobile machinery, plant, and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults across a wide variety of hydraulic systems and diesel machinery
- Work on petrol and diesel small plant equipment as well as various pumps
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records for all completed maintenance work
- Assist with the management of workshop inventory and help maintain appropriate levels of workshop stock
- Adhere to all relevant workplace health, safety, and environmental standards while on site
