Banner – University Medicine Tucson is seeking a dedicated inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, dynamic, and team-focused Otolaryngology team at Banner University Medical Center Tucson. As the only accredited Level 1 Trauma Center serving the Southern Arizona community, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care with empathy, clinical excellence, and teamwork.
In this role, you will work within a collaborative healthcare environment, coordinating comprehensive patient care alongside medical residents, attending physicians, and nursing staff. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced inpatient setting and is dedicated to supporting optimal clinical outcomes for patients receiving otolaryngology services.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Providing direct inpatient clinical care, assessment, and management for otolaryngology patients.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, residents, and nursing professionals, to coordinate effective treatment plans.
- Participating in daily rounds, evaluating patient progress, and documenting clinical notes accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicating compassionately with patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care coordination.
- Adhering to hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and safety standards to ensure the highest quality of care within a Level 1 Trauma Center environment.
