Core responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Providing professional nursing care to patients before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, technicians, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Monitoring patient vitals, managing medications, and assessing patient status throughout the care continuum.
- Educating patients and their families regarding procedure preparation, post-care instructions, and recovery expectations.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records and adhering strictly to clinical protocols and safety standards.
