CompHealth is currently seeking a skilled Radiologist for a locum assignment in Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated medical professional looking to support an outpatient imaging center experiencing a staffing shortage. The compensation for this role is $172,379 per year.
In this position, you will be providing essential diagnostic imaging and procedural support in a standard outpatient setting. The schedule runs from Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM each week, allowing for a structured routine while addressing the facility’s coverage needs.
Key responsibilities and duties for this locum role typically include:
- Performing approximately 18 procedures per day
- Reading and interpreting screeners and diagnostic imaging studies
- Utilizing expertise in MRI, ultrasound, and related imaging modalities
- Collaborating with facility staff to ensure efficient patient flow and accurate diagnoses
- Maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical documentation throughout the assignment
