Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Cardiac Care department. This is a permanent, full-time day worker position based in the beautiful Launceston region of Tasmania, offering a competitive salary of A$148,470 per year plus a 12% superannuation contribution. We offer standard full-time hours working up to 76 hours per fortnight, with hours potentially negotiable with the successful applicant.
In this role, you will work alongside skilled healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care within a specialized cardiac care environment. You will be responsible for providing advanced clinical nursing care, assessing and managing patient health needs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure the highest standards of clinical outcomes for our patients.
Key responsibilities and duties in this role typically include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and developing specialized care plans for cardiac patients.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to coordinate patient treatment.
- Providing expert clinical advice, education, and support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and adhering strictly to professional nursing standards and clinical protocols.
