As our Transport Company Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and overseeing our fleet operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all daily transport activities run smoothly, safely, and in compliance with industry regulations. Your leadership will help maintain our high standards of service delivery and support the continued growth of our logistics network.
Key responsibilities in this position typically include:
- Overseeing day-to-day transport and fleet operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Managing, mentoring, and supporting drivers and operations staff.
- Ensuring full compliance with relevant safety standards, transport regulations, and company policies.
- Monitoring performance metrics and implementing improvements to optimize routes and reduce operating costs.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain seamless communication and service execution.
- Addressing and resolving any operational issues or logistical challenges promptly.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive annual salary ranging between A$140,000 and A$150,000 per year, commensurate with your experience. We are looking for a dedicated professional who brings strong organizational skills, industry knowledge, and a proven ability to lead a transport team effectively.
