Albany Indian Tandoori Restaurant has been proudly serving authentic Indian cuisine in Albany, Western Australia, since 2011. Known for our traditional North Indian dishes, friendly hospitality, and commitment to using fresh local ingredients while maintaining true Indian flavours, we are looking for a dedicated professional to join our kitchen team.
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Cook interested in Indian cuisine to join us on a full-time basis in Mckail, within the Albany area. In this role, you will play an important part in the daily kitchen operations, helping to prepare and cook high-quality meals that delight our guests and uphold our reputation for culinary excellence.
Key responsibilities for this full-time Cook position typically include:
- Preparing, seasoning, and cooking traditional Indian dishes, with a focus on North Indian cuisine and tandoori specialties
- Ensuring all food preparation adheres to high standards of quality, taste, presentation, and food safety
- Managing kitchen stations efficiently during service hours to maintain a smooth workflow
- Utilizing fresh local ingredients thoughtfully while staying true to authentic Indian flavour profiles
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and workstation in compliance with health and hygiene regulations
- Collaborating effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our customers
This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary range of A$76,000 to A$82,000 per year.
