Pursuing fairness for the people of NSW, the NSW Ombudsman is currently seeking a dedicated professional for the position of Manager, Complaints Resolution Branch, Clerk Grade 11/12. In this senior leadership role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing complaint resolution processes, guiding a team of professionals, and ensuring that public sector agencies remain accountable and transparent in their dealings with the community.
The total remuneration package for this role is up to $195,679, which includes a base salary range of $149,739 to $173,174, plus the employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Managing and leading the Complaints Resolution Branch to ensure timely, efficient, and fair handling of complaints and investigations.
- Providing strategic advice and high-level leadership on complex dispute resolution matters and policy implementation.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the NSW government sector.
- Guiding, mentoring, and developing staff to foster a high-performance culture focused on public sector excellence and service delivery.
- Contributing to the broader strategic goals and continuous improvement initiatives of the NSW Ombudsman’s office.
