Manpower is currently seeking an Experienced Machine Operator for an ongoing, full-time opportunity based in Heidelberg West within the Banyule area. In this position, you will be an integral part of the production team, ensuring that manufacturing equipment runs smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The work schedule runs from Monday to Friday. Please note that the role will initially begin on the morning shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, and will transition to the afternoon shift from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm by September.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Operating production machinery in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Monitoring machine performance and troubleshooting minor operational issues
- Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Ensuring adherence to food safety and workplace health and safety guidelines
