Core Talent is currently seeking experienced, mechanically biased Maintenance Technicians to join a state-of-the-art automated warehouse operation located in Rooty Hill, within the Blacktown area. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive remuneration package of up to $168K plus overtime and superannuation, operating on a 4-on/4-off roster covering days or nights.

In this role, you will be working within one of Australia’s most advanced automated distribution centres. Your primary focus will be on maintaining industry-leading material handling and warehouse automation systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime and efficiency across the facility.

Key responsibilities for this position typically include:

Performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on mechanical automated distribution and material handling equipment.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical faults and system failures in a fast-paced environment.
Responding quickly to operational breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain throughput targets.
Collaborating with team members and operations staff to support continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Accurately documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage within the company’s maintenance management systems.
Adhering strictly to site health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at all times.

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong mechanical background with practical experience in a manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, or similar automated environment. Your ability to work effectively on a 4-on/4-off shift roster covering either days or nights will be essential for success.
