Overland Park Regional Medical Center is actively hiring a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women’s Float Pool, serving the NICU and Inpatient Pediatrics units. This is a part-time position located in the Quivira area of Johnson County, offering an annual salary of $38,640. In this dynamic role, you will provide professional nursing care to vulnerable patient populations, utilizing your clinical expertise across specialized pediatric and neonatal care environments.
Key responsibilities for this Registered Nurse position typically include the following:
- Delivering comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to infants, children, and families within the NICU and Inpatient Pediatrics units.
- Assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and monitoring vital signs and clinical progress.
- Administering medications, treatments, and therapies in accordance with established medical protocols and hospital policies.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, specialists, and support staff, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educating patients and families on post-treatment care, condition management, and ongoing health maintenance.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
