Banner Health is actively seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team at Banner Urgent Care locations in the West Valley Phoenix area, including Goodyear. As a Nurse Practitioner in our urgent care facilities, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of various ages presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and minor injuries. You will work collaboratively within an integrated healthcare system to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining efficient patient flow throughout your shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work
- Developing and implementing appropriate treatment and management plans
- Prescribing medications and therapeutic treatments in accordance with state guidelines
- Providing patient education regarding preventative care, injury management, and follow-up instructions
- Documenting all patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record system
