In this role, you will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and specifications, as well as installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems according to high industry standards. You will work closely with other team members and trades to ensure that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality specifications.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and isometric drawings to determine work requirements.
- Cutting, threading, bending, and assembling metal and non-metal pipes and tubes using various tools and equipment.
- Inspecting and testing piping systems for leaks and structural integrity using pressure testing and other methods.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures on site at all times.
- Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and fellow technicians to resolve technical issues and maintain project schedules.
To be considered for this position, applicants must be able to provide proof of a completed Modern Apprenticeship or relevant trade papers upon submitting their application. This is a permanent position offering a competitive annual salary of £35,508.
