Join the RAC as a Mobile Vehicle Technician in our SMR Division and be part of a new era of mobile repair. We are currently looking for a dedicated professional to join our team on a full-time basis, operating in and around the Houghton Regis and Dunstable area. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work directly to our customers, bringing convenience and expert service right to their doorsteps.
In this role, you will enjoy a competitive earning potential with on-target earnings of up to £57,000 per year, which includes a solid base salary along with bonus opportunities. To help you manage your time and maximize your earnings, we also offer a guaranteed overtime option, plus additional overtime possibilities.
Here is an overview of what the working arrangements and package entail:
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, including working 1 in 4 Saturdays
- Earnings: On-target earnings of up to £57,000 per year (comprising base salary, bonus opportunities, and guaranteed overtime options)
- Location: Houghton Regis, Dunstable
As a Mobile Vehicle Technician with the RAC, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve carrying out a range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. You will manage your mobile workspace, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and communicate effectively with customers to explain the work needed and provide an exceptional customer service experience.
