Witherslack Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join our team in the historic setting of Windsor Castle, Windsor. In this rewarding role, you will play a crucial part in supporting students and celebrating their progress, no matter how incremental.
As a Teaching Assistant with Witherslack Group, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve supporting educators within the classroom environment, helping to keep students engaged, and assisting individuals or small groups with their learning tasks. We celebrate what we call ‘huge small victories’—recognising that for some of our young people, simply sitting through a lesson or maintaining focus is a major achievement that requires patience, empathy, and resilience.
Key responsibilities for this full-time position include:
- Supporting classroom teachers with the delivery of daily lessons and learning activities
- Working closely with students to help them overcome barriers to learning and build confidence
- Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive educational environment
- Fostering positive relationships with students, celebrating their achievements, and encouraging personal growth
- Collaborating with teaching and support staff to monitor student progress and wellbeing
