Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic in our SMR (Service, Maintenance & Repair) Division based in West Pottergate, Norwich. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £52,000 per year, based on 40 hours per week.
This is a different kind of RAC role. While the RAC is widely known for roadside rescue, this position focuses entirely on mobile vehicle maintenance and repair, representing an exciting new era of service delivery right to our customers’ locations.
As a Mobile Mechanic with the RAC, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve travelling to customer vehicles to carry out servicing, routine maintenance, and necessary repairs with a high standard of professional workmanship. You will manage your mobile workspace efficiently, diagnose faults accurately, and provide excellent communication to customers regarding the work required.
Key details of the role include:
- Full-time permanent employment based in West Pottergate, Norwich
- Core working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
- Working pattern includes 1 in 4 Saturdays
- Earnings potential up to £52,000 per year
