Ocado Logistics is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Freezer Warehouse Operative to join our team in Amport, Andover. In this role, you will be part of a specialist team operating within a high-performing freezer environment at temperatures as low as -25°C. As a Freezer Warehouse Operative, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically involve handling goods, picking and packing orders accurately, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment within the storage facility. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational targets while strictly adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurately picking and packing customer orders in a chilled or sub-zero environment
- Operating manual and powered warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Working effectively as part of a team to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Complying fully with all health, safety, and hygiene standards on site
- Properly wearing and maintaining the provided thermal protective equipment
We are looking for candidates who are reliable, hardworking, and comfortable working in cold storage conditions. No prior warehouse experience is strictly necessary, as full training will be provided to ensure you are set up for success in the role. A positive attitude and a willingness to stay active throughout your shift are essential.
