Wrights Nursery (Victoria) Pty Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Person to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. Located in the Frankston area with operations extending to Langwarrin South, our established horticultural business has been operating for several decades, supplying top-quality plants, nursery products, and floristry items to wholesalers, landscapers, and garden centers across the region.
In this full-time role, you will be an integral part of our daily nursery operations, helping to maintain our strong reputation for quality and reliability. We are offering a competitive salary range of A$75,000 to A$85,000 per year for the right candidate who brings enthusiasm, reliability, and a strong work ethic to our growing team.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- General plant care, maintenance, watering, and pruning to ensure consistent stock availability and health
- Assisting with sorting, grading, and preparing plants for wholesale and retail customers
- Receiving incoming stock, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Assisting landscapers, garden centers, and wholesale clients with their plant and product inquiries
- Operating nursery equipment safely and adhering to all workplace health and safety guidelines
To be successful in this position, you should have a genuine interest in horticulture and a willingness to learn and work outdoors in various weather conditions. A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential for this role, as is a commitment to upholding the high standards that Wrights Nursery is known for throughout the Victorian gardening and landscaping industry.
