Skilled Nursing is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Registered Nurse for a short-term contract within the Accident and Emergency department of a Central Queensland hospital. This temporary opportunity runs from 06/07/2026 to 02/08/2026, offering a chance to utilize your specialized emergency nursing skills in a regional healthcare setting.
In this dynamic role, you will provide high-quality clinical care, assess patients promptly, and manage acute presentations within the emergency department. To be successful in this position, you must meet the core clinical requirements and demonstrate confidence in fast-paced healthcare environments.
Key requirements and essential skills for this position include:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Minimum 12 months of recent nursing experience
- Mandatory Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
- Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) skills
- Proficiency in Triage, Resuscitation, and IV Cannulation
- Specific background in Emergency nursing care
This is an agency-rate contract designed for experienced professionals looking to support regional healthcare teams. To ensure a smooth transition into the role, both accommodation and travel are provided for the duration of the assignment.
