Skilled Nursing is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses with a strong background in mental health to fill permanent, full-time positions across the South Eastern Sydney region. This is an exciting opportunity to build a rewarding career with one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, delivering high-quality care to patients within a supportive healthcare environment.
Hospitals covered within this district include major facilities such as Prince of Wales Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women, St George Hospital, the Sutherland Hospital, and more. In these roles, you will work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams to assess patient needs, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and advocate for positive mental health outcomes.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Providing expert clinical care and nursing assessments for patients presenting with mental health conditions.
- Collaborating closely with psychiatrists, medical staff, allied health professionals, and support teams.
- Monitoring patient progress and updating care plans in response to changing clinical needs.
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
- Supporting patients and their families through compassionate, person-centered communication and education.
