We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Chef to join our Cook Chill Production team on a part-time basis. Based at our modern Hilton facility in the Adelaide CBD area, this is an excellent opportunity for a culinary professional looking to apply their skills within a purposeful, community-focused environment.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the large-scale production of high-quality meals, ensuring all culinary standards, food safety regulations, and production schedules are met efficiently. Working alongside a dedicated team, your daily responsibilities will typically include:
- Preparing, cooking, and portioning meals in accordance with established cook-chill production processes and recipes.
- Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP guidelines across all kitchen operations.
- Operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively.
- Collaborating with team members to maintain a clean, organized, and productive kitchen environment.
- Assisting with stock control, ingredient preparation, and other kitchen duties as required.
To be successful in this position, you should bring a strong background in commercial cooking, ideally with exposure to batch cooking or cook-chill operations. You are someone who thrives in a structured environment, pays close attention to detail, and shares a genuine passion for supporting the local community through the delivery of exceptional food services.
