HCA Healthcare is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist and Radiology Technologist to join the team at our free-standing emergency room location serving the Red Oak and Oak Leaf, Ellis County area. This part-time opportunity is ideal for imaging professionals looking to bring their expertise to a leading healthcare provider.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment and general radiology equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Your daily duties will include patient positioning, explaining procedures to ensure comfort and safety, adhering to strict radiation safety protocols, and accurately documenting patient records within the healthcare system.
This is a part-time position operating on a specialized weekend day shift schedule. The required working hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (Days, Weekends only).
The annual compensation for this position is fixed at $106,594 per year.
Key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role include:
- Performing diagnostic CT scans and general X-ray procedures following established departmental protocols and safety standards.
- Ensuring patient safety, privacy, and comfort before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Maintaining equipment cleanliness, reporting malfunctions promptly, and managing image archiving workflows.
- Holding required professional credentials, state licenses, and certifications necessary to practice as a CT and Radiology Technologist.
