Ocado Logistics is seeking a dedicated and reliable LGV (CE) Driver to join the team on a full-time basis in Lane End, Dartford. Known as one of the best heavy goods vehicle opportunities available, this role involves undertaking the delivery and collection of products to and from a variety of locations, strictly in line with all company policies and procedures.
As an LGV (CE) Driver for Ocado Logistics, your day-to-day responsibilities will typically include:
- Safely driving and operating Large Goods Vehicles (LGV) to complete assigned delivery and collection routes
- Adhering strictly to all relevant driving regulations, safety standards, and company procedures
- Conducting thorough vehicle checks before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness
- Accurately completing all required delivery paperwork and communicating effectively with the logistics team
- Providing professional and reliable service when interacting with customers and various delivery locations
This position requires flexibility and dedication to meet operational demands. Key working conditions for this role include:
- Working a flexible shift pattern that consists of nights, late shifts, early shifts, and weekends
- A minimum contracted commitment of 32 hours per week
- Routes assigned up to 12.5 hours per day, meaning you will regularly be expected to carry out additional hours beyond your base contract
