Ocado Logistics is looking for a dedicated and professional full-time LGV (CE) Driver to join the team based out of Dordon, with operations supporting the Burbage and Hinckley areas. At Ocado Logistics, the mission is to change the way the world shops for groceries, and that journey starts right behind the wheel with our drivers.
In this role, you will take to the road using our state-of-the-art fleet to deliver and collect products to and from a variety of locations across the UK. Many of our vehicles are powered by natural gas for specific routes and are fully fitted with extra safety technology to ensure a secure and modern working environment.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Safely operating an LGV (CE) vehicle to transport goods between our cutting-edge Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) and delivery locations.
- Completing vehicle safety checks and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Adhering strictly to UK driving regulations, road safety standards, and company policies.
- Loading and unloading vehicles as required and ensuring all delivery paperwork is accurately completed.
- Representing Ocado Logistics in a professional and customer-focused manner while on the road.
