Join the RAC as a Superflex Roadside Mechanic based in Bewsey, Warrington. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000 per year, recognizing and rewarding your dedication and flexibility on the road.
As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you will provide the critical adaptability that our breakdown service relies on. You will thrive outside of the traditional nine-to-five routine, working an average of 40 hours per week across the year with rosters provided in advance to support your work-life balance.
Key responsibilities and duties for this role include:
- Attending stranded motorists at the roadside and diagnosing a wide variety of mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
- Performing efficient, safe repairs on-site to get members moving again whenever possible.
- Delivering exceptional customer service during high-stress situations, offering reassurance and clear communication to stranded drivers.
- Managing your workload independently and prioritizing call-outs effectively across the Bewsey and Warrington area.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs completed, and parts used.
- Adhering strictly to health, safety, and motoring regulations at all times while working in dynamic roadside environments.
