Halfords is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cycle Technician to join the team on a full-time basis in Witham Town, Boston. Offering a competitive salary of £23,400 to £27,268 per year (with specific hourly rates of £13.11 for applicants aged 21 and over, and £11.25 for those under 21), this is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a genuine passion for all things bike and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
As a Cycle Technician at Halfords, your primary focus will be to deliver market-leading standards of cycle service and repair. You will work on a wide variety of bicycles, ranging from children’s and adult models to premium, performance, and electric cycles. Your ability to combine technical know-how with excellent customer service skills will ensure every customer is left thoroughly impressed with the quality of work carried out.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs on a diverse range of bicycles, including e-bikes and performance models.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues accurately and providing clear, professional advice to customers.
- Building and preparing new cycles to the highest safety and quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
- Delivering friendly and knowledgeable customer service, helping shoppers find the right solutions for their cycling needs.
