Gregory is seeking a motivated and organised Trainee Transport Planner to join our Transport Operations team based in Brentry, Bristol. This is a full-time position offering a salary of £26,436 per year, designed for individuals looking to develop their career within the transport and logistics sector while gaining the hands-on skills and experience needed to progress into operational or supervisory positions.
As part of this exciting opportunity, you will undertake an 8-month Level 2 Traffic Operator Apprenticeship development programme. This structured learning journey is designed to equip you with industry-standard knowledge, practical competencies, and the operational expertise required to succeed in transport planning.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve supporting the wider transport team with coordination tasks, communicating effectively with drivers and customers, and helping to ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Key responsibilities and expectations for the Trainee Transport Planner include:
