As our business continues to expand its product portfolio and technical services, we are currently seeking a dedicated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Kingsgrove location in the Canterbury Area.
In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our network infrastructure and computer systems. You will play a key part in ensuring our technical operations run smoothly, supporting both internal systems and our expanding suite of trade solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a growing company in the security technology sector.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Designing, configuring, and maintaining robust local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks.
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of company data through regular backups, firewall management, and implementation of cybersecurity best practices.
- Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams regarding network and system operations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to integrate new technologies and scale infrastructure in line with business expansion.
- Documenting network configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of computer networking principles, system administration, and modern IT infrastructure. You should possess relevant industry experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team are essential.
