Skilled Nursing, a specialized division of Skilled Medical Pty Ltd, is seeking a dedicated and experienced healthcare leader for a permanent, full-time Nursing Director position overseeing Sub Acute and Ambulatory Care Services. This leadership opportunity is located in the beautiful Launceston region of North West Tasmania.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive leadership and management to the nursing staff and associated services. You will play a key part in setting the strategic direction within the Department of Medicine – Sub Acute, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, supporting multidisciplinary teamwork, and maintaining clinical governance standards across the service.
To be considered for this permanent opportunity, applicants must meet the following essential criteria:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
- Possession of relevant post-graduate qualifications suited to a senior leadership role in clinical care.
- Demonstrated experience in nursing leadership, staff management, and strategic service delivery within a healthcare environment.
