Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the successful delivery of multiple construction projects from the procurement phase through to final completion. You will work closely with project management teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure commercial objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Assisting with the procurement process, including tender preparation, scoping, and evaluation of subcontractor and supplier packages.
- Drafting, negotiating, and administering subcontracts, work orders, and supply agreements.
- Managing progress claims, variations, payment schedules, and subcontractor invoicing.
- Monitoring project costs, budgets, and financial reporting in collaboration with the project management team.
- Identifying potential commercial risks and assisting in the implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and correspondence in accordance with company procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, a solid understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, quantity surveying, or a related discipline are highly regarded.
This full-time opportunity offers a competitive salary package of A$80,000 to A$90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience, along with the chance to grow your career within an established and expanding civil construction business based in the Sydney region.
