We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physiotherapist Level 3 to join our team at the Brain Injury Unit within SABIS, located in Goulburn. This is a rewarding opportunity to help patients recover, improve function, and enhance their overall quality of life within a supportive rural community setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing effective physiotherapy treatment programs tailored to patients with brain injuries. You will work closely within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to restore mobility and independence, ensuring high standards of clinical care and patient advocacy are maintained at all times.
Key responsibilities and duties for this position typically include:
- Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments for patients with brain injuries to determine their physical therapy needs.
- Developing, delivering, and regularly reviewing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to coordinate holistic patient care.
- Educating patients, their families, and caregivers on management strategies and ongoing rehabilitation exercises.
- Maintaining accurate, contemporary clinical documentation in accordance with relevant health service standards and guidelines.
- Participating in quality improvement activities, professional development, and clinical supervision as appropriate for a Level 3 practitioner.
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant professional qualifications in physiotherapy and hold current registration with the appropriate regulatory body. You should demonstrate strong clinical skills in neurological rehabilitation, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a genuine passion for supporting patients through their recovery journeys.
This position is offered as a permanent part-time opportunity working 19 hours per week in Goulburn. Remuneration is aligned with the Level 3 classification, ranging from $56.69 to $58.52 per hour (equivalent to an annual salary range of approximately A$116,892 to A$120,680 per year for full-time equivalence).
