MARS PARTNERSHIP. LTD. is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Community Podiatrist to join an established allied health team on a flexible, part-time basis. Located in the White Gum Valley and broader Fremantle area within Perth’s southern suburbs, this position offers a 0.4 FTE workload with the potential for hours to increase over time as the community-based service continues to grow and expand its Home Care client base.
In this rewarding role, you will provide professional podiatry services directly to elderly clients in their homes, promoting mobility, comfort, and overall foot health. You will work closely with a supportive network of healthcare professionals to deliver person-centred care tailored to the unique needs of older adults in the community.
Key responsibilities in this role typically include:
- Conducting comprehensive foot assessments and developing individualized treatment plans for aged care clients
- Providing routine and specialized podiatric care within a community-based setting
- Educating clients and their families on proper foot care and preventative management strategies
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and home care providers
- Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation and client records in accordance with professional standards
To be successful in this position, applicants should hold relevant tertiary qualifications in Podiatry and current professional registration with the appropriate regulatory body. A commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the aged care sector is essential. Due to the community-based nature of the role, a current driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
