PJL Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, overseeing operations at the Kanmantoo Mine site located in the Mount Barker area. As a specialised Underground Hard Rock Maintenance and Asset Supply Company, we pride ourselves on delivering reliable, round-the-clock service to our clients in the mining sector.
In this critical role, you will be responsible for the successful management of our ongoing contract at the Kanmantoo Mine. PJL Group operates dedicated workshop facilities onsite to manage the supply and maintenance of an underground mining fleet on a 24/7 basis. Your leadership will ensure that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, maintaining high standards of asset management for a fleet that primarily consists of new Sandvik, Caterpillar, and Volvo underground equipment.
Key responsibilities in this position typically include:
- Managing day-to-day project operations and contract deliverables at the Kanmantoo Mine site.
- Overseeing the performance and coordination of onsite workshop facilities and maintenance teams.
- Ensuring the effective supply, maintenance, and availability of the underground mining fleet.
- Maintaining strong communication with client representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Upholding strict safety standards, environmental protocols, and company policies across all site activities.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in project management within the mining, maintenance, or heavy equipment sectors. Familiarity with underground mining equipment—specifically Sandvik, Caterpillar, and Volvo machinery—will be highly regarded. You will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage complex operations in a dynamic 24/7 mining environment.
