We know our customers love a treasure, and as a shop volunteer, you will play a key role in helping people discover these wonderful items while supporting the vital humanitarian work of the Red Cross.
This role is ideal for vibrant individuals who want to contribute to their community, put their life skills into action, or gain valuable new skills and experiences in a supportive and welcoming retail environment.
Key responsibilities and daily activities typically include:
- Greeting and assisting customers with a friendly and helpful attitude
- Sorting, pricing, and preparing donated items for the shop floor
- Merchandising and creating attractive displays of clothing, accessories, and homewares
- Operating the cash register and processing transactions accurately
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
