HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our specialized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team in Margate, Broward County. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the NICU, you will play a vital role in assessing, treating, and caring for neonatal patients with respiratory conditions and deficiencies. Working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment, you will administer respiratory therapy treatments, monitor specialized equipment, and ensure the highest standards of patient safety and clinical excellence.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Delivering specialized respiratory care services to neonatal patients in the NICU
- Operating, monitoring, and maintaining mechanical ventilators and other life-support equipment
- Assessing patient response to treatments and modifying care plans in collaboration with physicians and the clinical care team
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation in patient electronic health records
- Educating and supporting families regarding respiratory care procedures and equipment
The annual salary for this position is $69,289 per year. Additionally, qualified applicants may be eligible for available sign-on bonuses or relocation packages, depending on eligibility and hospital guidelines.
