In this rewarding position, you will perform direct patient care within the established scope of practice for a Registered Nurse specializing in bone marrow transplant services. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, monitor treatment responses, and provide vital education and support to patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey.
Key responsibilities for this role generally include:
- Providing specialized direct nursing care to bone marrow transplant patients within established clinical guidelines.
- Monitoring patient vital signs, managing complex symptom care, and administering prescribed medications and treatments safely.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care plans.
- Educating patients and their families on post-transplant care, medication regimens, and ongoing recovery expectations.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.
Compensation for this position is established at $90,076 per year.
