UPMC Southwestern PA is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Ophthalmologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join our esteemed team at The Vision Institute in Avalon, Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice truly collaborative care within a well-established academic and clinical environment.
We welcome applications from both new and established clinicians, as well as clinician scientists, who are passionate about advancing children’s eye health. In this role, you will play an integral part in helping to grow and expand the department’s multidisciplinary care pathways. Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Providing comprehensive pediatric ophthalmology clinical care and consultations
- Contributing to the growth of multidisciplinary patient care pathways
- Participating in academic, educational, and research activities aligned with the Assistant or Associate Professor level
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes
- Engaging in ongoing professional development and specialized sub-interest areas
Compensation for this full-time position is established at $96,772 per year.
