As an RN MedSurg Neurology, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to individuals recovering from or managing neurological conditions and general medical-surgical needs. Your day-to-day duties will typically involve assessing patient health statuses, administering medications and treatments, collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, monitoring vital signs, and educating patients and their families regarding ongoing care and recovery plans. Compassion, clinical accuracy, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this vital role.

Key responsibilities for this role generally include:
- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and neurology patients in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
- Monitoring patient progress, recognizing changes in condition, and taking appropriate clinical action.
- Administering prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments safely and accurately.
- Collaborating closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Providing supportive education and clear communication to patients and their loved ones throughout the treatment and recovery process.
- Maintaining accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation.
